As Josephite women we embrace the vowed life as a way of being by which we freely commit ourselves to journey into deep intimacy with God.

We vow Chastity as a way of loving unreservedly and non-possessively for the sake of God's reign.

We vow Poverty to follow Jesus in his total dependence on God. Trusting in God's Providence we choose to live simply by sharing our lives and resources.

We vow Obedience to imitate Jesus in his life of profound openness to and acceptance of the will of God.

Community living assists us to live these vows and meet a variety of human needs. The companionship of like-minded sisters and the mutual sharing as well as the prayer and good fun revitalise and strengthens us.

Prayer, both personal and communal, is part of daily living.

Governance of the congregation is through a Congregational Leader and a council of three elected sisters and through General Chapters held every five years.
